Big Day Of Activities at Crivitz Tuesday, July 4th

Crivitz-Crivitz will host a big parade, park events, live music and fireworks on Tuesday, July 4th beginning with a flag raising ceremony at 10:45 am in front of the Village Hall. The Grace Lutheran Pioneers will raise the flag accompanied by Talor Long, who will sing "the National Anthem".
The American Legion parade will begin at 11 am with the theme "Let Freedom Ring'. The parade route will start at Henriette Ave. and Hall Hay St. and make the customary loop around the downtown area ending at Henriette Ave. and Louisa St. A flea market will be held downtown all day, with the Tasty Traveler and Crivitz Bakery food trucks, Mad Dog and Merrill and a host of other vendors selling food, crafts and collectibles.
Parade entry forms and more information may be obtained at the Crivitz Village Hall, or by contacting Bryon Boehmke at (715)927-1945. Lineup will begin at 9am at Henriette Ave. and Louisa St.
Immediately following the parade festivities will begin at Crivitz Community Veteran's Park with a beer and soda stand staffed by the Crivitz American Legion. DJ Gary Huebner of Audio Axentz will kick out the tunes from 1 to 6 pm. The Crivitz VFW will cook up food and the Historical Society will sell popcorn and glow sticks. Free bouncy houses will be available for the kiddies from noon until 8 pm and as always, Littleland Playground will provide hours of enjoyment for the little ones.
Show respect for veterans and support their organizations by purchasing refreshments from the beer, soda and food stands.
At 6:15 pm a local favorite Bill Hill will hit the stage with his big Green Bay band, Brass Differential until the massive Witt's Piggly Wiggly fireworks display begins at 9:15 pm. The fireworks can easily be seen from the park and surrounding areas.
