Daniel W. Johnson, 63, of Marinette passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at home.
Born April 17, 1954 in Milwaukee, to Robert and Bernice (Manske) Johnson, he grew up there and early on was blessed to do almost anything he set his mind to. He married Debra Lembke on Oct. 18, 1986 and worked as a mechanic and a machinist most of his life.
He loved working on motorcycles, cars, small engines, computers and time with family. Never idle, he enjoyed life most when he had a project, was lending a hand or offering his knowledge to someone in need. He was passionate about making music and was known as the "one man band", playing many instruments including the drums and guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; three sons, Derick (Breanna) Johnson of Marinette and Jason Ranic (fiancé Jennifer) and Wayne Galloway, both of Milwaukee; three granddaughters; his mother, Bernice Johnson of Milwaukee; two sisters, Kathy (Gary) Wetzel of Fort Atkinson and Jenny (Michael) Wagner of Delafield; many nieces; nephews and friends and special companion Deejay.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Sunday, July 9 from noon until time of the funeral services at 1:30 p.m.
