Richard A. Derouin
Richard A. "Dickie-Do" Derouin, 68, of Marinette, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017.
Born Dec. 12, 1948 in Menominee, Mi., to William "Bill" and Doris Derouin, he spent his early years there and graduated from Menominee High School in 1967. He served in the United States Army as a veteran of action in the Vietnam War. After service, he returned to Menominee and worked at L.E. Jones Co. as a machinist and later was employed for 26 years at Winsert in Marinette.
He married the former Barbara Penney on June 7, 2003 and they made their home in Marinette.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; five children, Shaun (Tammy) Derouin, Shelly Derouin, Kelly Derouin, Robert Borowczyk and Danny Borowczyk; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Ramona Hansen.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Lueskow and four brothers, Donald, David, Billy and Kenneth Derouin.
Friends may call at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. His brother-in-law, Pastor James T. Penney will officiate.
