Junith J. "Tidy" (Fisher) Davis, 73, a seven year resident of the Northwoods, formerly of Green Bay and Oconto, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at her home.
Born Sept. 13, 1943 in Akron, N.Y., to Floyd and Ruth Fisher, she graduated from Marinette High School and worked at Scott Paper in Marinette, in customer service at Wards and Sears and at AMS Insurance in Green Bay.
After moving north, she worked at Wal-Mart and the Crock Shop in Minocqua. She enjoyed reading, travelling, gardening and playing cards and games, but mostly time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Scott Davis of Sturgeon Bay and Glenna (Eric Neff) Davis of St. Germain; two sisters, Judy (Mike) Bock of Ozark, Mo. and Debbie (David) Fisher Dobbin of Umina Beach, New South Wales, Australia; a brother, Floyd "Eddie" (Jan) Fisher of Rosemont, Mn.; five grandchildren; nieces; other family and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Micheal Fisher.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13 at the Sunrise Apartments Community Room in St. Germain from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Gaffney Busha Funeral Home of Eagle River is assisting the family with arrangements.
