Hannah Roslyn (Hood) Hale, 92, of Cedar River, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017 at home.
Born Sept. 18, 1924 in Platteville, to the late Herman and Isabell (Foote) Hood. On Sept. 21, 1946, she married Alan Hale in Chicago, Ill. She worked as a Rosie the Riveter during World War II and also owned and operated a Liquor Store with her husband.
She had a huge heart, enjoyed sewing, knitting and doll making and loved helping others, but mostly time with family.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ellen Hale and Robin (Michael) Langley, both of Cedar River, Mi.; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters and a brother.
A graveside service was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Ill. on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson assisted the family with arrangements.
