Lena Lions Club Hosts 32nd Dairy Fest Sept. 9
Lena-The Lena Dairy Fest sponsored by the Lena Lions Club will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 at St. Anne's Parish grounds on Main St. in Lena. The day will kick off with a Stampede, 5K walk-run at 8 A.M, followed by the parade that will start at 10:30 A.M. A list of the day's events follows. All events are free including admission to the tractor and truck pull. No pets or carry-ins allowed.
Events at 6 a.m. is registration for Stampede 5K Walk-Run followed by Stampede 5K Walk-Run 8 a.m.
Parade is at 10:30 A.M, Farm Tractor Pull noon and Truck Pull about 6 P.M. There will be a Petting Zoo all day, Face Painting by Vickie Magee noon - 3 P.M., and free kids events all day
Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the day, free live music is noon - 10 P.M. with Party Boys 1noon " 3 P.M, Carlin & Cain 3-6 P.M., and Renegade 7-10 P.M.
