Gail M. (Haulotte) Phillips, 78, of McAllister, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at home.
Born Jan. 14, 1939, to Howard and Mildred (Caylor) Haulotte, she lived in the McAllister area for most of her life and graduated from Wausaukee High School in 1957. She married Kenneth D. Phillips on Sept. 19, 1959 and for many years worked at Gary's Quality Foods in Wallace.
A devoted wife and mother, she loved her family, enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was an avid golfer and liked watching sports and sporting events. She enjoyed being on the go, eating out with family and friends, was a longtime member of Community Lutheran Church and loved Sunday morning coffee hours after church.
She is survived by a daughter, Holly (Tom) Philipps of Wallace, Mi.; two sons, Kenneth (Kathy) Phillips of the Town of Wagner and Don (Vicki) Phillips of Marinette; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Howard (Judy) Haulotte, Marlene Flom, Gerald (Doris) Haulotte, Marjorie Olson and Gary (Lisa) Haulotte; a sister-in-law, Karen Johnson; nieces; nephews and many special friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and brothers, Robert Haulotte and Don Haulotte.
Friends may call at Community Lutheran Church in McAllister on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 6 p.m. Rev. Paul Hueter will officiate with burial in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. A memorial fund has been established in her memory. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
