Thomas "Tuba" M. Nowack, 52, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.
Born April 9, 1965 in Menominee, to the late Walter and Mary (Budde) Nowack he graduated from Menominee High School in 1983 and received a BA in Criminal Justice/Law at Lake Superior State. He worked at KUS for over 19 years and most recently at Jim's Escort/Pilot Car Service.
He enjoyed duck hunting, watching the Packers and Redwings, crossword and Sudoku puzzles, cribbage, smear, socializing, ice fishing on Hayward Lake and enjoying life to the fullest. He was President of the Hayward Lake Club and supported Maroon Athletics and Legion Red Wave baseball.
He is survived by two brothers, Mike (Jennifer) Nowack and David Nowack, both of Menominee; a nephew, Nathan Walter Nowack; a niece, Emma Mary Nowack; an aunt, Carol Carlson of Rhinelander; cousins, Bruce (Renee) Carlson, Heidi Hochmuth, Chris (Dennis) Miller and Amy (John) Mayo; a good friend, Dick Alfredson Jr. and many other good friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and an uncle, David Carlson.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 1 p.m. until time of the Memorial Services at 5 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials can be made to a family member with much of the donations to be directed to the Menominee Booster Club and Red Wave Baseball.
