Barbara D. (Hawley) Anderson, 90, of Goodman, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mi.
Born June 18, 1927 in Goodman, to the late Raymond and Irene (Sipple) Hawley, she lived there most of her life. She enjoyed rides in the woods watching wildlife, playing games, especially card games with her club and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her partner, Ben; three daughters, Lynn (Russell) Willoughby, Debra (Dick Mazur) Raboin and Teri (John) Chernetski; seven grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and five siblings, Donald (Vonna), Jim (Charlotte), Wayne (Alice), Denise (Bud) and Janice (Gil).
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Sam Eley; Vernon Anderson; three children, Michael, Lorna, and Brian; three brothers and five sisters.
Family and friends may call at Union Protestant Church in Goodman on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. until time of the service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Henry Yoap officiating. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
