Kathleen L. (Alto) Gilligan, 73, of Gillett, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Born Aug. 25, 1944 in Waukegan, Ill., to Runnar and Catherine (Walsh) Alto, in earlier years, she farmed and later worked as a cook at OJ's Restaurant and as a waitress at Yancy's Restaurant.
She retired from Seneca Foods and enjoyed trips to Wisconsin Dells to visit family and she loved her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis "Denny" Gilligan of Pulcifer; a daughter, DeAnne (the late Joseph) Glime of Florida; five sons, Randy (Christi) St. Louis of Oconto Falls, Greg St. Louis and Daniel (Tanya) St. Louis, both of Fond du Lac, Andrew (Laurie) St. Louis of Coleman and Kris St. Louis of Bonduel; 11 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean (Ken) Hall.
Friends and relatives called on the family at Legacy Funeral Chapels in Gillett on Friday, Sept. 8 from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m., with Rev. Kent Wallace officiating. Burial was in Olin Cemetery in Springville.
