Neal A. Spell, 45, of Peshtigo, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at home surrounded by family and friends.
Born June 4, 1972, to Neally and Delilah (McNabb)) Spell in Walterboro, S.C., he married Anna Gauthier at Lena Community Bible Church on March 29, 2003 and worked as a truck driver, carpenter, mechanic, was a jack of all trades and could do anything with his hands.
He considered his children his greatest accomplishment and loved spending time with his wife and family. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was was an expert shot with a pistol despite being nearly blind. He enjoyed cars, shooting pool, swapping stories with friends on his porch, music, dancing, telling jokes and helping others.
He had many friends, which was evident at the Celebration of Life that was held on June 3, 2017 at the Marinette Police Shooting Range and then to his house to eat.
He is survived by his wife, Anna of Peshtigo; a son, Robert; a daughter, Elizabeth; his parents, Neally (Brenda) Spell of Walterboro, S.C. and Delilah (James) Baker of Lena; two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be held at Lena Community Bible Church on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 11:30 a.m. until time of the Memorial Services at 12:30 p.m. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
