Gloria R. Bauerfeind, 88 of Suring, passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2017.
Born Nov. 14, 1928, to the late Donald and Amelia (Marsh) Bauerfeind in Mountain, she graduated valedictorian from Mountain High School in 1946. and received the Spirit Award and the I Dare You Book.
She worked as a waitress, check clerk and house cleaner for neighbors for many years and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, foam art crafts and watching TV.
She is survived by a niece, Lynn (Kim) Neumann; great-nephew, Timothy; great-nieces, Laura and Brooke; great-great nephew, Parker; great-great nieces, Mila and Lillyanna and many other friends and relatives.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Florence Bauerfeind and Joel and Wilmina Marsh; a brother, Donald and his wife Dona and a niece, Lisa Ann.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Howard Neider officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery.
