Mildred Mae (Abendroth) Buck, 91, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26th, 2017 at the Luther Home.
Born March 1, 1926, daughter of the late Elmer and Esther (Bestchta) Abendroth, she married Donald Buck on Dec. 3, 1954 in Menominee, Michigan. She worked many years for Bouchers Bakery in Marinette before retiring from Westlund Bus.
Mildred was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and working on her flower gardens. She was a great listener always making time for others.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Heffernan of Appleton, Marcella Elias of Marinette and Therese Buck of Peshtigo; a son, Lynn Buck of Marinette; Grandchildren, Steve (Kathy) Pisaro, Jessie (Patty) and Jonathan Heffernan, Jessie (Jason) Fendricks, Christina (Bryant) Hester, Stephanie and Jamie Elias, Travis Provo, Nicole (Joseph) Martinez and Matthew Buck; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; a sister, Shirley Prouse and a granddaughter, Tara Elias.
Visitation will take place on Friday Sept. 29th from 3 until the time of services at 5pm at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home in Peshtigo. Services will be officiated by her grand-son-in-law, Joe Martinez and Pastor Dale Welch. A luncheon will follow at the Pentecostal Church in Peshtigo. Burial will take place at Glenwood Gardens in Marinette.
