Donald J. Risner, 66, of Pound passed away Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at his home.
Born Dec. 15, 1950, to the late Arnold and Lucille (Lesperance) Risner, he was a commercial farmer all of his life until retiring due to illness. His life was full but simple.
He is survived by a sister, Marlene (Matt) Sokol; two nephews, Ken (Kelly) Van Drisse and Steve (Barb) Van Drisse; a niece, Lori (Brad) Harrison and seven great-nieces and nephews, Tanner, Trevor, Jherney, Quinnah, Azllyn, Matt and Melissa.
He made many good friends and had a lot of relatives of which he enjoyed socializing with and would like them to celebrate one last time before he is laid to rest. A Celebration Of Life will be held at Equity Hall on Highway 64 on Friday, Nov. 3 from 2 p.m. until closing. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family.
