Artur Berwyn Curtice, 79, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at his camp.
Born Nov. 19, 1937 in Menominee, Mi., to the late William and Esther Helena (Forsberg) Curtice, married Lorraine Hutchinson on Sept. 24, 1988 on the Curtice Farm. He worked in construction for many years.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing, old cars, auctions and time with his buddies at the Rise N Shine Bakery.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; seven children, Debra Curtice, Art (Judy) Curtice Jr., Jay (Kim) Curtice, Rusty Curtice, Kevin (Jen) Hutchinson, Brian (Brenda) Pingel and Pam Rozek; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Joyce Erickson, Alice Paquette and Adabell Mason.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Darcey; two brothers, Bob and Jim and a sister, Lavonne.
Family received friends at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3:30 p.m., with Pastor Archie Roberts officiating. Burial was in Mellen Township Cemetery on Monday, Nov. 6 at 9:30 am. A memorial fund was established.
