Martha "Ronnie" Veronica (Marsh) Venstra, 92, of Pembine, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
Born Oct. 13, 1925 in Emmet, to the late Fred and Martha (Hughes) Marsh, she married Frank Venstra on Jan. 11, 1947 in Aurora and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2011.
She worked as a Teacher's Aide in the Pembine School District for many years and enjoyed dancing and playing cards. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Vicki (Larry) Anderson of Colorado Springs, Co., Sherry (Jim) Normand of Norway, Mi., Rhnaye Rhodes of Amberg and Roxi (Dan) DeLaet of Wausaukee; a son, Burry (Ellen) of Niagara; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Lou Venstra; a great-granddaughter, Courtney Cole and nine siblings.
Family and friends may call at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pembine on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., with Fr. Matt Settle officiating. Burial will be in Pembine Cemetery in the Spring. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements.
