Sharon Lee Thompson, 66, of Oconto, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 surrounded by family at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Born March 15, 1951 in Racine, to the late James and Joyce (Stich) Hanna, she married John Thompson on April 25, 1998 and worked as an LPN for area nursing homes.
She enjoyed reading, couples bowling league and knitting and crocheting afghans and doilies for family. A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto, she was a loving Godmother and aunt to many nieces and nephews, but had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband, John; a son, Joey (Crissy) Kumhala; two sisters and two brothers, Linda (Bill) Cholewa, John (Judy) Hanna, Joe (Brenda) Hanna and Judy (Bruce) Leisner; two grandchildren and brothers and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Hanna; a sister, Susan Hanna and her step-father, Frank Clementi.
Per her wishes, services will be private. Gallagher Funeral Home of Oconto is assisting the family.
