Mary Ann Grun
Mary Ann "Terry" (Oliverius) Grun, 90, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at Cottonwood Manor in Green Bay.
Born March 19, 1927 in Menominee, to the late Louis and Margaret Oliverius, she married Francis Grun on Aug. 27, 1949 in Menominee and they made their home there for many years.
They were foster parents to many county children in need of a safe home. She was known for her long career as a dance teacher, teaching at the bandshell and in her home studio. She worked in different jobs, but her desire to serve people brought her to joining the Peace Corps at age 65. She taught her children to never be afraid of trying something new.
She is survived by three children, Susan (Julie Hammer) of Green Bay, Thomas (Terri) of Marinette and Loren (Joyce) of Dallas, Tx.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis and two sisters, Lois and Barbara.
