Nancy L. Demmith
Nancy L. Demmith, 68, of Pound, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 after an eight month illness.
Born Jan. 23, 1949 in Green Bay, to the late Clarence and Erana (Berglin) Mier, Sr., she attended school in Milwaukee and married David F. Demmith on May 14, 1966 there. She worked at Krause Lumber and retired from Saputo Cheese in 2012.
An avid doll collector, she also enjoyed playing bingo and time with her grandchildren and cats.
Surviving are her husband, David F.; a daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Janssen, Little Chute; a son, David D. (Kathy) Demmith, Green Bay; five grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence (Patricia) Mier, Jr., Francis (Pam) Mier and Jack (Melissa) Mier; six sisters, Judy Mattie, Lucy Honsvick, Jean (Ken) Gearu, Genevieve Arnold, Sallie (Harvey) Jones and Patty (Johnny) Roby and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandy; a granddaughter, Jennifer Demmith and her unborn child and a sister, Arlene Demmith.
Family will greet relatives and friends at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 221 North Louis St., Coleman on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Gregory Stahlecker officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Pound. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family with arrangements.
