THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Wayne DeLorme, 83, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 at an area hospital.
Born July 3, 1934, to the late Elmer and Agnes (Hickey) DeLorme, he graduated from Oconto High School and St. Norbert College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After service, he married the former Marlene "Lee" Siewert on Sept. 8, 1962 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Wausau.
He worked in the banking industry and served as President of Community Bank in De Pere and then held various sales positions. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of reading historical mysteries and for family trips to London.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marlene "Lee" a son, Mark (Laura) DeLorme; a brother-in-law, Gary (Connie) Siewert and other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Michelle and a lifelong friend, Gary Kuschel.
A private family service will be held at a future date. Simply Cremation Funeral Home is assisting the family.
