Ken Kowalkowski, 78, of Oconto, passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.
Born July 17, 1939 in Milwaukee, to Chester and Jeanne (Kubiak) Kowalkowski, he married Connie Gawlinski on May 21, 1960. He worked at Clark Oil starting in 1960 and was district manager at the end of 30 years.
They owned and operated Foxview Lanes in Waukesha before retiring to Oconto in 2000. He enjoyed bowling in leagues and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Connie; four children, Keith (Lisa), Chris (Lyn), Tracy (Jeff) Vogelsang and Jon (Sandy); 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Goetzel; his in-laws, Betty Polatowski, Vicky (Mike) Bauer and Jerry (Patricia) Gawlinski; nieces; nephews; great- nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Among his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth "Butch" and a grandson, Henry Frank.
Per his wishes, a private service will be held at a later date. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Oconto is assisting the family.
