Emmi L. (Becker) Stratton, 78, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at Rennes Health Care Center-East.
Born Feb. 2, 1940, to the late Alfred and Helen (Philibeck) Becker in Menominee County, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1958 and married John Stratton in Milwaukee on Aug. 4, 1977. She worked for 28 years at Ansul.
She enjoyed plants, flowers, gardening, her pets, golfing on the ladies league at Little River Country Club and cooking, especially for family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John of Marinette; three daughters, Tammy (Dave) Nichols of Wallace, Terry (Jamey) Richardson of Fort Mill, S.C. and Tracy (Jeff) Polaski of Menominee, Mi.; five step-children, Teri Stratton of Madison, Lori Frank of Oshkosh, Jode (Mike) Fisher of Madison, Peter Stratton of Georgia and Stephanie Stratton of Madison; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roland (Shirley) Becker of Menominee and Al (Pat) Becker of lower Michigan and a sister, Beverly Cook of Marinette.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Hebert and a sister, Nancy Wall.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 9 from 2 p.m. until time of the services at 4 p.m., with Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiating.
