Janet E. (Murray) Dubey, 78, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at Rennes Health Care Center-East.
Born May 28, 1939, to the late Thomas and Stella (Sieminski) Murray in Menominee, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1957. On May 2, 1959, she married Eugene Dubey in Menominee and worked at Northern Hardware for a few years until raising her family. In 1978 she was employed at Twin City Insurance Agency where she worked for 25 years.
A member of Resurrection Parish and the Altar Society, she enjoyed watching the Packers and Menominee Maroons, attending her grandchildren's events, going to camp, knitting, crocheting, camping at Porterfield and wintering in Palmetto, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; a son, Mikeal (LuAnn) Dubey of Menominee; two daughters, Karen (Gary) Baidel of Perrysburg, Oh. and Mary (Bill) Van Domelen of Menominee; a sister, Sandra (William) Kroll of Highland Park, Ill.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle and a brother, James Murray.
Visitation will take place at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Vigil Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m., with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Resurrection Parish in Menominee on Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. Fr. McQuesten will preside with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
