Jeffrey L. LaCombe, 60, of Marinette passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Feb. 21, 1957, to the late John and Dorothy (Myers) LaCombe in Menominee, Mi., he served in the United States Army for two years.
On Oct. 1, 1977, he married Catherine Kennedy at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marinette and worked at Kargard for nine years and Chem Design for 29 years.
A member of Holy Family Parish, he loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, golfing and helping others.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cathy; two daughters, Andrea (Tony) Zuraski and Angela (Charles) Valitchka, both of Marinette; a son, Jeremiah (Jessica) of Peoria, Ill.; seven sisters, Sally Doyle, Pam (Dave) Beaudo, Bonnie (Bob) VanCalligan, Mary (Steve) Kornusky, Jacci (Paul) Garvey, Jenny (Brian Lindquist) Bellisle and Amy (Darrell) Genett; six brothers, Roy (Patti), Reverend Terry, Thomas, Greg, Patrick and Brian; six grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Darlene Kennedy; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Kathy) Kennedy and Jeff (Amber) Kennedy and two sisters-in-law, Karen (Paul) Rojek and Kimberly (David) Mottl.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Kennedy and a brother-in-law, John Mike Kennedy.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Taylor Street at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Terry LaCombe and Rev. Celestine Byeqwaso co-concelebrated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
