THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Message Community Church to Open in New Location
Issue Date: February 28, 2018
The Message Community Church of Wausaukee, will be moving to a new building. The new facility will be opening on Sunday, March 4. It is located at 825 Main Street in Wausaukee. Lead Pastor is Wausaukee resident Pastor Augie Magestro. "I have wanted to plant a church here in our city for some time, says Magestro. "My wife, Kim and I had moved up here five years ago, so I could complete my studies and hopefully, one day, plant a church. I have felt a strong calling for the past year now, that I should begin a church and mission right here in Wausaukee".
The focus of The Message Community Church is to provide the city and surrounding area with worship services, Bible Studies, Sunday school services and many local Out-Reach programs. Pastor Magestro is a graduate of Ohio Christian University. He has received high honors during his entire tenor and was on the Dean's List, with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.94. Magestro said, "God has truly worked in my life. He has turned me around 360 degrees, from a long time Executive Chef, business man and entrepreneur, to a Pastor. I would have never guessed that this is what His plan is for me. I now know that He wants this church planted, where everyone will be welcome to share fellowship and pray. It doesn't matter who you are, our where you are on your walk with God. Everyone is welcome."
The church will be using both contemporary music, blended with some of the traditional hymns as part of their services. Pastor Magestro commented on his style when he preaches. "I am a "Teacher " Pupil' kind of Pastor. I want to make sure that our congregation, including myself, leaves every service with something that they have learned. I want to share this wonderful Christian walk with everyone, and show them that we are loved, unconditionally, by our Lord and Savior. There is not a single person out there that cannot be part of God's Wonderful Plan, and I want to let them know it!"
The Message Community Church will host its first worship service at the new location, on Sunday, March 4, at 9 A.M. There will be an open house following the service, with Coffee and Cake being served. Contact Pastor Magestro at 715-927-1664 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org, for more information.
