Dennis J. "Grampa Denny" Stoneburner, 62, of Green Bay, formerly of Menominee, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 13, 2018 at a Green Bay hospital surrounded by immediate family.
Born Sept. 28, 1955, in Menominee, Mi., to the late James and Carol (Smith) Stoneburner, he worked as a mechanic his entire life, with most of his years at Pomp's Tire starting in 1986 and retiring in 2016 due to failing health. His family was the most important part of his life.
He is survived by four children, Janet Lynn, Michael James, Nicole Marie and Anna-Marie Joy; nine grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Jim) Yunke; three nieces, Jenn LaBlanc, Angie Menor and Amber Jo Stoneburner and other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis James, Jr. and a brother, Jeffrey.
Visitation was held at Malcore East Funeral Home in Green Bay from 11 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 1 p.m., with Sr. Helen Keyzer, ANG officiating, followed by full military honors.
