Dwight David "Dewey" Galleske, 61, of Marinette, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of Unity Hospice in DePere.
Born May 6, 1956 in West Bend, to Willis Galleske and Beverly (Flitter) Galleske, he moved to Marinette with his family at a young age and lived there since. He married the former Sandra Jean Rudolph on Jan. 6, 1979. He worked as an over the road truck driver, John Veriha Trucking and drove motor coaches for Westlund Bus Lines. Most recently he was a security supervisor for the security service company, Seccuritas.
A devoted husband and father to his family, he enjoyed gardening and excelled at landscaping and loved trains, from model railroading to the working railroads.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; three children, Jason and Justin of Marinette and Jessica of Iron River, Mi.; brothers and sisters, Dean (Nancy) Flitter of Lomira, Donny Galleske and Danny Galleske, both of Menominee and Deanna Salzman of Marinette and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church in Marinette on Thursday, March 22 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service. Rev. Kevin Dembinski will officiate followed by a luncheon at the Church.
