Hold Final Card Party at Wagner Town Hall

The Golden Opportunity, Kountry Kids, and Badger Buds 4-H Clubs and the Wagner Volunteer Fire Department Cadets held their last Card Party on Saturday, March 17 at the Wagner Town Hall.

Each game winner received $5 from an anonymous donor. Winning in 50 for the adults was Diane Hueter and kids was Ally Razivka. In Pinochle for the men was Harold Beck and for women was Mary Labunski. In Smear for the men Achal Gowda and women LouAnn Petersen. Each high series winner received $5 from an anonymous donor. The grand series high in 50 for adults was Julie Retza and kids was Sierra O'Mary. The grand series high in Pinochle for men was Harold Beck and women, Renee Woodward. The grand series high in Smear for men was Mike Caylor and women, Toni Vieth.

Children's raffle items, Prestin Verstrate won Easter basket by Cadets, camo plane by Franklin Suennen, bubbles by Franklin Suennen, two McDonalds value meals by McDonalds, Twizzlers by Fronsee family and chalk set by Retza family; Trevor Fronsee won Pinwheel by Caylors and McDonalds value meal by McDonalds; Jenssen Roberts won note book set by Biernaszs and airplane by Callum Rickaby; Brooke Walters won McDonalds value meal by McDonalds and football by Franklin Suennen; stuffed bunny by Ember Rickaby, Luke Nelson; Twizzlers by Fronsee family, Connor Walters and Jacob Watson; and McDonalds value meal by McDonalds, Emily Caylor.

Weekly raffle winners were: metal quilt decoration from Rickabys to Tara Carnahan; rug from Kountry Kids 4-H to Ann Mech; 2 fire extinguishers from Frank Suennen went to Connor Walters and Amanda Wenzel; bird house made by Mike Caylor to Brooke Walters; mittens made by Lynda Caylor to Jerry Haulotte and Len Sadowski; wooden bunny by D's Logging to Ann Mech; $25 gift certificate to Hometown Restaurant from Hanson/Onion/Martell Funeral Home to Ken Limberg; tie blanket made by Ember Rickaby went to Madison Fronsee; chocolate bunny from Caylors to Emily Caylor; items donated by Renee Woodward, electric slider maker to Will Labunski Sr, sandwich maker to Josh Brunette, bird bath deicer went to Tina Zink; hand mixer from Taylor Rickaby to Tara Carnahan; three picture frames by the Dirksen family to LouAnn Petersen, Marlys Limberg and Josh Brunette; candle set from Franklin Suennen to Connor Walters; file set from Dirksens to Ken Limberg; backpack from Biernaszs to Mary Labunski; Home Horticulture visit from Scott Ruess to Ember Rickaby; gift certificate from Sequins Cheese to Brooke Walters; Dairy Queen certificate from Sandy Rodeghier went to Will Labunski Sr.; Subway gift certificate from Jumbo Tubs & Subs Laundry Peshtigo to Brooke Walters; and Haircut with Sue from Hello Beautiful Salon to Prestin Verstrate.

Grand prize winners were: $50 gift card from Biernasz Logging to Ken Limberg; afghan made by Linda Fronsee to Mike Caylor; wrench set by Franklin Suennen to Dan Buss; gift certificate for a portrait by Gregory's Portrait Art went to Achal Gowda; two $25 Shell gift certificates from Aacer Flooring to Doris Patterson and Harold Beck; fire extinguisher from Franklin Suennen to Harold Beck; and Plat Book from Marinette County Land Information to Lynda Caylor.

One door prize was donated by Callum Rickaby, Ember Rickaby, Hemstock family, and Retza family; two prizes Renee Woodward, Austin Rickaby, Franklin Suennen, Biernaszs, Taylor Rickaby and Wagner Fire Department Cadets; four prizes Marlys/Ken Limberg; five prizes Wenzel family and McDonalds; eleven prizes Dirksen family; and thirteen prizes Badger Buds 4-H.

Silent Auction items: chocolate cake by Franklin Suennen went to Lynda Caylor; sour cream banana cake by Olivia and Heather Schramm to Ember Rickaby; cupcake with tray by Ember Rickaby to Josh Brunette; and cookies by Doris Patterson to Josh Brunette.

Winner of the 50-50 raffle was LouAnn Petersen.

Those donating food were Ember and Rick Rickaby, LouAnn Petersen, Retza family, Jenny Watson, Doris Haulotte, Marlys Limberg, Amanda Wenzel and Sandy Rodeghier.

Working from the Golden Opportunity 4-H Club were leader Ember Rickaby, Rick Rickaby, Amanda Wenzel, Madison, Jenny, Jada, Wade and Trevor Fronsee, Josephine Hanson, Rebekah and Julie Retza, and Sandy Rodeghier. Badger Buds 4-H Club was Sara, Connor and Brooke Walters. Cadets was advisor, Josh Brunette, Mike Caylor FD, and Prestin Verstrate. Working from the Kountry Kids 4-H Club were Sierra O'Mary, Wendy, Luke and Trevor Nelson, Suzy and Ally Rozivka, Jacob and Jenny Watson, Heather and Olivia Schramm, and leader Anne Biernasz.

The approximate amount of money raised for the Wagner Volunteer Fire Department is $1,574.00. Thank you to everyone who made the card parties a success.
