Bernice E. (Walker) Wardecke, 87, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2018 at The Renaissance Assisted Living in Appleton.
Born Jan. 25, 1931 in Pound, to the late Russell J. and Helen D (Giese) Walker, she married David R. Wardecke on June 26, 1946 in Pound and he preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 2008 along with an infant son, Clyde David.
She was a kind, gentle person to all her neighbors, friends and relatives and will be missed.
She is survived by six sisters, Nancy L. Kniskern, Delores E. Grandaw, Carole G. Kroll, Donna C. Meyer, Barbara M. Mayer and Darlene (Gilbert) Weddle; five brothers, Clifford R., Mervin J., Alan G. (Edith), Dale G. (Phyllis) and Darrel G. (Pat) Walker and many nieces and nephews.
Per her request, no services will be held. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family.
