Kathleen Anne (Gille) Van Eyck, 68, of Menominee, Mi., formerly of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
Born June 6, 1949, to Richard and Patricia (Kernan) Gille in Green Bay, she attended St. Joseph Academy, then NWTI. She married Stephen Van Eyck on Sept. 13, 1974 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Green Bay and worked at Wisconsin Optical and Global Optics, Oaks Family Care and Baird Home.
A member of St. Peter and Paul Christmas Basket Program, she enjoyed serving concessions at athletic events for St. Thomas Moore, extreme couponing, bowling, the Brewers, Packers and NASCAR, but most important was time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen; her mother Patricia; children Stacy (Vern), Amy (Joe), Kevin (Erica), Scott (Abigail), Andy (Holly), Brian (Tiffany), Becky (Dan) and Matt (Megan); 13 grandchildren; five siblings, Mike (Janice), Linda (Dennis), Mark (Kathy), Rick (Brenda) and John (Patty) and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in in death by her father Richard; an infant brother, Robert; her grandparents, Clarence and Emily Gille; parents-in-law, John and Bernice Van Eyck and two grandchildren, Danny and Blake.
Family and friends called at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere on Monday, March 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitation continued Tuesday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. A memorial fund was established in her name.
