Lillian S. Huss, 95, of Marinette. passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Born Oct. 9, 1922 in Silver Cliff, to the late John and Charlotte (King) Anderson, she married William C. Huss on Nov. 24, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2000. She worked as a parent coordinator at NEWCAP of Oconto where she retired from.
A wonderful seamstress, she made many wedding dresses in her lifetime and enjoyed flowers, canning, cards and making her special pies, but mostly, going to the cabin on King Lake with her husband.
A member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Peshtigo and Peshtigo Woman's Club, she loved spending time with her family and friends, but especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Wesley (Julie) Anderson, Peshtigo and Susan (Dave) Goddard, Crivitz; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, a son, Arthur (Butch) Anderson; a daughter, Karin Marquardt; three brothers, Richard Anderson, Roy Anderson and Everett Nesbitt and three sisters, Eileen Weber, Charlotte Garbrecht and Myrtle Tilker.
Family will receive relatives and friends at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peshtigo on Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. until time of the service at noon. Pastor David Murphy will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
