James John Parnitzke Sr. passed away at home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
He was born to the late Carl and Clara Parnitzke on Dec 19, 1943 in San Francisco Ca. He attended school in Illinois. He married the love of his life, Barbara (Waszak) on Nov. 19, 1966.
James and his brother Carl started an appliance and washer and dryer repair known as Par's Service. He expanded his business to Wausaukee while working construction. He loved going for drives with Barbara and going fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; 3 daughters, Lisa Wagner, Janet Parnitzke and Joyce Parnitzke; 2 sons, James (Lori) and Jeff Parnitzke; grandchildren, Carrie Bright, Alan Foltz, Jessica Walker, Joseph Lanich, Katie Werner, Kristin Werner, Shad Opolka Jr., Dylan Fuller, Brandon Currie, Taylor Currie, Phillip Chipps, Eva Chipps, Ariana Parnitzke; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl Parnitzke and Harry Stella; 4 sisters, Mary Hecke, Margaret Leach, Karen Hall and Dorothy Trendle and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Chuck, Patrick Maguire and Fred Stella and a sister, Clara Meadows.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home on Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Augie Magestro will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Wausaukee.
