Gloria (Kulhanek) Peetz, of Suring, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 surrounded by family from complications of a severe stroke.
Born Dec. 6, 1941, to Gordon and Evelyn (Wondrash) Kulhanek, as a child, she loved wandering the woods and hills with her grandfather, John. She was married to Jim Peetz and he preceded her in death.
A kind gentle spirit, she loved flowers and animals, had a smile for everyone and could talk to anyone.
She is survived by four children, Patti (Anthony) Lenz and Suzi (Scott) Herning, both of Suring, Shirley (Chris) Smith of Green Bay and James of Madison; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Coreen Kulhanek) and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and two brothers, Gordy and Jackie.
Visitation will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 11005 County Road M, Suring on Friday, May 25 from 2 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. A Celebration Gathering will follow the service at Red Maple Country Club, 501 Golf Course Road, Suring. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be appreciated.
