Jim J. Murray, 57, of Carney, Mi., passed away Thursday May 3, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, Mi.
Born Feb. 5, 1961 in Norway, MI., to the late James "Joe" and Lorraine (Rollain) Murray, he graduated from Carney Nadeau High School in 1979. On Oct. 7, 1989 he married the former Ann Kleikamp at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau and worked as a logging truck driver for St. John Trucking.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, golfing, cards, traveling, was an avid Packer fan. A "Jack of all trades", he could fix and build almost anything, but mostly time with family and friends is what he loved most. A member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, he always lent a helping hand to anyone in need.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of Carney; a brother, Tom (Wendy) of Crivitz and many nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Visitation was held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mi. on Monday, May 7 from 4 p.m. until time of a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation continued on Tuesday, May 8 at St. Bruno Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Ronald Timock officiated with burial in Nadeau Township Cemetery.
