Coleman High School Graduation is May 19Issue Date: May 17, 2018
Coleman High School commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 19 at 2 p.m. in the high school gym.
The seniors chose for their motto: "Miles may separate us, but memories will always bind us", the white rose is their flower, and their son is "Hall of Fame" by The Script.
Graduating seniors include Litzy Altamirano, James Keith Beauleau, Malena Lynn Belanger, Andrew R. Berth, Anna Frances Dohl, Dylan Russell Forner, Kasha Jean Franzen, Aaron James Fraser, Beth Ann Gannigan, Amy Lynn Giese, Madisyn Lynn Harley, Alondra Elizabeth Herrera, Bristol A. Hitsman, Kassidee Morgan Hoffman, Ty Justin Hoffman, Miles James Perry Kremsreiter, Tylor John Kwiecinski, Derrik Mitchell Leslie, Timothy James Luck, Zackariha Frederick Manning, Abigail Marie Marquardt, Austin Joel Marquardt, Leonardo Martinez-Romo, Skyla Grace Meyer, Alexis Ann Rudolph, Sarah Darla Seefeldt, BreAnna Tess Shehow, Jeremy James Smith, Ryan William Terp, Samantha Katherine Timm, Nicole Marie Van Hoff, Autumn Skye Washuleski, Megan Rose Adell Wierzba, Bryce Alan Zempel, and Cameron Ray Zirbel.
Top ten academic students include Amalia Lisseth Faudoa Rios, Kersten Elizabeth Gibson, Annabelle Rose Kotecki, McKenna Lea Kriescher, Kelly Jean Polomis, Jennifer Joanne Styczynski, Cody Daniel Van Hoff, Cole James Woulf, Clara Rose Yoap, Sydney Marie Zablocki.
Co-Valedictorians are Clara Yoap and Annabelle Kotecki, and salutatorian is Jennifer Styczynski.
Yoap, daughter of Henry and Rebecca Yoap will attend St. Norbert College, De Pere in the fall to major in Pre-Medicine, Biology.
Her high school activities include Track & Field, 4 years- Varsity Captain, Team MVP, Cross Country, 3 years, Varsity Captain, Team MVP, Class President for 4 years, National Honor Society, 2 years- President, Hi-Q, 3 years, Academic Bowl, 2 years- 2nd place in math, Band, 3 years, Student Council, 3 years, Forensics, 2 years-silver at state meet, FBLA, 4 years- 2nd place in Business Calculations, Volleyball, 3 years, Basketball, 3 years, Prom & Homecoming Committee, 3 years, Leadership Committee, 3 years, Healthy Youth Coalition, 2 years, DAR Good Citizen Year of the Year, Student of the Month, all four years of high school.
Community activities include volunteer at Camp Daniel & Syble Hopp, Camp Bird Counselor, Senior Year, American Red Cross Blood Drive volunteer, Bell-Ringer for the Salvation Army, Sunday School Assistant, Math Tutor, and Operation Christmas Child.
Kotecki is the daughter of Gary and Lisa Kotecki, and plans to attend UW-Madison to major in Environmental Engineering.
Her high school activities include Softball, 4 years- Co-Captain, Team MVP, 2017 Co-Conference MVP, M & O First Team All Conference (2 Years), All-State Honorable Mention, First Team All-District, 2018 Wisconsin Sports Network Athlete of the Week, Volleyball, 4 years- Co-Captain, Team MVP, 2017 M & O First Team All-Conference, 2016 Second Team All-Conference, National Honor Society, 2 years, Academic Bowl, 2 years- 3rd place in math, Hi-Q, 3 years, Band, 2.5 years, Student Council, 3 years, FBLA, 3 years- State qualifier, 5th place at regionals, and Healthy Youth Coalition, 2 years.
Her community activities include volunteer at Syble Hopp, American Red Cross Blood Drive volunteer, Coleman Youth Softball volunteer, Donor Dash and PK Fit Health Fair volunteer.
Styczynski, daughter of Jody Styczynski and Joanne Yoap, she plans to attend St. Norbert College, DePere, to major in Business Administration & Finance.
Her high school activities include Band, 4 years- Drum Majorette, 1st at State Solo & Ensemble, Student Council, 3 years, National Honor Society, 2 years, Hi-Q, 2 years, Forensics, 2 years- Silver and bronze at state, Leadership Committee, 3 years, FBLA- 3 years- President, 2nd Place in accounting, Basketball, 3 years, Volleyball, 3 years, and Prom/Homecoming committee- 2 years.
Her community activities include Camp Bird Counselor, senior year, volunteer at Syble Hopp and Earth Day clean-up, Giving Tree volunteer, Assistant Sunday School Teacher, active member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Youth Group, and American Red Cross Blood Drive volunteer.
