William L. Bristol Jr., age 75 of Suring, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 at Kings Veteran's Home in Waupaca. William was born on July 8, 1943 in Beaver Falls, Pa. to the late William Sr. and Grace (McClurg) Bristol.
He was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club and a member of Suring United Methodist Church. He loved to fish, camp, and ride his motorcycle with his vet friends and worked at various nuclear plants around the United States.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Alice (Funkhouser); a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Stacy Bristol of Minnesota; two daughters, Sherrie Walker and Kimberley Cuppy, both of Wisconsin; sister, Donna Orlowski of Florida; sister-in-law, Debra James of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leslie and Grace Bristol; great grandson, Jeffrey (Peanut) Warren Smith Jr; sister-in-law, Dolly May Funkhouser.
