Mary Kay (Morois) Long, 63, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
The daughter of Catherine (Hornick) and the late Donald James Morois of Menominee, Mi., she graduated from Menominee High School in 1973 and from Eastern Michigan University in 1977.
She worked for 30 years as a teacher of blind/visually impaired students, retiring in December of 2017.
She is survived by her mother, Catherine; two daughters, Jeni Long of South St. Paul, Mn. and Kristen (Shelby) Clethen; four granddaughters of Inver Grove Heights, Mn.; a brother, Donn (Anita) Morois and an aunt, Lois Johnson, both of Peshtigo.
A private service will be held with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Donations can be made to the hospice care facility, Our Lady of Peace, 2097 St. Anthony Blvd., St. Paul, Mn. 55104.
