Scott Warren Klitzke, 60, of Menominee, Mi., passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, due to an accident.
Born Aug. 29, 1958 in Menominee, to Warren and Mary Ann (Kienitz) Klitzke, he married the love of his life, Kelly Martin on July 14, 1990 in Menominee. He owned and operated Scott Klitzke and Son Forest Products.
He enjoyed camping at Shakey Lakes Park where he enjoyed his pontoon boat, boating, tubing, wake boarding and entertaining family and friends.
He also enjoyed farming and hunting, but mostly his family and especially his grandchildren. He had a giving heart, enjoyed helping others, loved making people happy and telling a good joke. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly of Menominee; his parents, Warren and Mary Ann Klitzke and a son, Tyler Klitzke, all of Menominee; two daughters, Mandi (Jesse) Thoune of Marinette and Amber (Heath) Berman of DePere; six grandchildren; two sisters, Wendi (Ron) Nolde and Sally (Bill) Nielsen-Conklin; a brother, Randy and his in-laws, Phyllis and Bill Martin, all of Menominee; a sister-in-law, Terri (Jeff) Dama of Madison; two brothers-in-law, Jeff and Randy Martin and right hand man and nephew, Adam Klitzke, all of Menominee and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alex and Mary Kienitz and Walter and Alma Klitzke.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at Anderson Kell Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until time of a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, Oct. 12 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Laatsch officiating. A memorial fund has been established and any expressions can be directed to Kelly Klitzke.
