Clifford R. "Cliff" Falstad, 83, of Marinette, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018.
Born Jan. 6, 1935 in Spooner, to Raymond and Hilda Falstad, he spent his early life there and graduated from Spooner High School before moving to Marinette to seek employment where he met the former Shirley Powell and they married on Sept. 28, 1963. Most of his life he worked at The Ansul Company from where he retired. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley; two daughters, Sheila (Samuel) Nyakundi and Sherri (Jeff) Arndt; a grandson, David Nyakundi; a sister, Helen Hanken; two brothers, Bob Falstad and Russ (Kay) Falstad and nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Falstad.
Friends may call at Calvary Church Assembly of God, W1498 State Hwy. 64, on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m., with Rev. Tim Hawthorne officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
