Ann Hassman, age 68, of Crivitz, passed away on October 28, 2018.
She was born to the late Clarence and Mary Powers on November 20, 1949. She graduated from Prentice High School in 1967. After high school she attended Medford Technical Teachers College and finished her degree at UW-Superior.
After college, Ann moved to Crivitz and was a teacher for over 40 years. She married the love of her life, Gene Hassman on December 28, 1981. She had a passion for gardening and photography and loved traveling with her family and enjoyed helping Gene on the farm. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving husband Gene, six children, Mark (Keli), Jeff (Carole), Doug (Corey), Michael (Margaret), Donald and David (Kim) Hassman. Fifteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers Michael (Carylin) and John Powers and two sisters Margaret Page and Melanie Gallistel.
She was preceded in death by her sister Kathy Powers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary Church in Crivitz on Wednesday, November 21 from 9-11am. The Memorial service will be at 11am with Father Frederick Sserugga officiating. She will be laid to rest at the St. Mary's Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Charity of your Choice. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family.
