Carol Jean (La Perriere) Quever, 85, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born March 1, 1933 in Marinette, to the late Harry and Mabel (Schuette) La Perriere, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1951. She married Ronald Quever in Menominee and he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1989. A member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee, in addition to her Catholic faith, she was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, but time with her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy. A people person, she loved working at Bill's IGA Store and Angeli's of Menominee.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Dura and Mary (Gene) Hart; a son, Mark (Darcey) Quever; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Shirley) La Perriere and other family members and friends, especially Betty Bretl.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Ron, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard and a son-in-law, Tony Dura.
Friends were welcomed at Resurrection Parish on Tuesday, Jan. 29 just prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Brian Gerber presided with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee assisted the family with arrangements.
