Donna Belle (Maus) Lorang, 87, of Oconto, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at Woodlands of Oconto, with family by her side
Born July 29, 1931 in Green Bay, to the late Harold and Eleanor (Richter) Maus, she married Donald John Lorang on Aug. 29, 1954 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena. She worked at Northern Paper of Green Bay and as a farm wife while raising her children. She then worked at the ASCS Office of Oconto until retirement.
A member of the Women's Auxiliary Doney DeGrave American Legion Post 342, she enjoyed playing cards and time with family and friends. Together they enjoyed traveling to many places and wintering in Texas.
Surviving are six children, Michael (Melodie) Lorang, Karen (Duane) Hofland, James (Marcia) Lorang, Dee (Randall) Cochart, Tina (Thomas) Hazen and Mary (Troy) Piskula; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Marcella Mitchell and a brother, Steve (Onnie) Maus.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald; a sister, Betty (Lawrence) Anderkay; a sister-in-law, Norma (Anthony) Kramer; a brother-in-law, Darrel Lorang and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Lorang.
Family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto on Friday, Feb. 1 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m., with Fr. Joel Sember officiating. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Oconto is assisting the family with arrangements.
