Mary Ann (Kiraly) Czeto, 102, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center in Stephenson.
Born Dec. 29, 1916 in Chicago, Ill., to the late Gabriel and Annie (Sakovitz) Kiraly, she married Joseph Czeto on Dec. 17, 1933 at St. Fredericks Catholic Church in Daggett, Mi. and he preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1980. She worked as a welder at Lima Tank Depot during World War II and later at Stephenson Bakery from 1960-1970. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Gabrielann (Fred) Okins of Stephenson; two grandsons; a sister, Agnes Miller of Stephenson; a sister-in-law, Ann Kiraly of Stephenson and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Czeto; five sisters and two brothers.
Visitation was held in the Memorial Room at Precious Blood Catholic Church on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. Brian Gerber officiating. Burial will be in Stephenson Township Cemetery in Spring. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
