Richard Kapla, 77, of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born July 3, 1941 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Harry and Lucille (Andre) Kapla, he drove bus for Greyhound Bus Company and farmed on the family farm for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Susan; three sons, Kirk Kapla, Kevin Kapla and Kent (Becky) Kapla; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Jerry and a sister, Carol.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louane.
The family greeted relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Coleman on Wednesday, April 10 from 9 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Pastor Nick Johannes officiated with burial in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery in Pound.
