Milford "Skip" Lyle Eberly, 86, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Rennes Health Care Center-East in Peshtigo.
Born June 11, 1932 in LanCaster, Pa., to the late Charles and Almeda (Chittister) Eberly, he attended high school in Depew, N.Y. and after graduation worked at American Airlines, which was interrupted when he went into the military. He served two years in South Korea and returned to American Airlines for 45 years until retiring and moving to Oconto.
He enjoyed time with his 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joyce (Makos) Eberly, Oconto; a son, Kent Eberly, Mesa, Az.; step-children, Michael Daul, Ronnie Daul, Francis (Tony) Daul and James Daul, all of Oconto; Peggy Rhode, Pound and JoAnn Resch, Appleton; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Among his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kurt Eberly and three step-children, Pastor Charles Daul, John (Jay) Daul and Susie Daul.
Gallagher Funeral Home of Oconto is assisting the family.
