Darrell "Butch" John Hipke, age 62, lost his 5+ years battle with cancer on June 1, 2019 with his family by his side.
Butch was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, camping and most of all fishing. He spent many trips in his younger years out West and to Canada. He was an amazing cook who liked to make everything he caught for family and friends. He worked at Marinette Marine as a pipefitter and lead man for over 30 years.
Butch loved his family above all else and would do anything for them; from remodeling and home projects to homemade meals and just spending time together, he was always there taking the best care of them. He was a big supporter of Wisconsin sports, always cheering on the Brewers, Badger's and Packers.
Butch is survived by, his beloved wife, Carol; a daughter Toni; a son, Matthew (Allison); grandsons, Brody and Maverick; granddogs, Jax and Opie. Also survived by, his siblings, Dan (Judy) and Donald (Paula), Dennis (Jenny), Debbie (Dick), Doris (Scott) and Dwayne (Corrine); brother-in-law, Ken (April) and sister-in-law, Linda.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Donna; his brother, Dale; a brother-in-law, Jim and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fran and Ardene.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 7, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until time of Memorial Services at 6:00 pm, with Father John Harper officiating.
