Susan Ann (Kust) Thomas, age 77, of Crivitz, passed away on July 17, 2019 with her family by her side.
Susan was born in the little white house across Main Street from the old Coleman High School in Coleman, Wisconsin. She was delivered by her Grandma, Ida Dantinne. Susan was welcomed by her parents, Leona and Joseph Kust and two sisters, Dolly and Patsy, Sherry came later.
After moving west of the village, Susan attended Lincoln Grade School and graduated from Coleman High School class of 1960. Susan graduated from Marinette County Teachers College, teaching school in Pulaski, Coleman and Crivitz. Susan married Nicholas Thomas and they parented four children at their home on Thunder Lake.
In 1977 they purchased Goldie's Gift Shop in Crivitz, turning into the Nuthatch Gift Shoppe. After 25 years of enjoying all the wonderful people of which many become life-long friends. Sue sold the Nuthatch to spend time traveling with her husband.
In 2016, Sue walked in a Pilgrimage to our Lady of Good Help with a wonderful group from St. Anthony's Parish, Oconto. For many years Sue and Nick spent part of the year in Naples, Florida.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Joe and Leona Kust and a baby brother.

The family greeted relatives and friends at St. Mary's Church of Crooked Lake on Saturday July 18th from 9-11 AM. The Funeral Mass was at 11 AM with Father Len Evers officiating. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz assisted the family with arrangements.
