Michael "Mick" Pichette, 78, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at home.
Born Aug. 29, 1940 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Clayton and Alice (LaLonde) Pichette, he graduated from Menominee High School and Northern Michigan University and worked for the City of Menominee Public Works Department.
A member of Abundant Life Church in Menominee, he became a pastor at age 70, was very involved in the Church and devoted to his religion and studying the bible. He enjoyed playing in the Northernaires, Blue Notes and Americanos, crossword puzzles and time with his cats.
He is survived by a sister, Sally (Larry Nelson) Pichette-Broetzman; a sister-in-law, Melissa Pichette and former wife, Charlene Malone all of Menominee, Mi.; nephews, Andre (Shawn) Pichette, Paul (Jen) Pichette and other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Pichette.
Visitation will take place at Abundant Life Church in Menominee on Sunday, Aug. 11 from 2 p.m, until time of a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. Rev. David Pennell will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family with arrangements.
