THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Many Citizens Help Search for Missing Prop
Issue Date: July 31, 2019
Last weekend on Lake Noquebay in Crivitz, Kay Langer of Crivitz was driving her 25 year old ski boat when the prop fell off in the lake. Her family boat was not operable without that prop.
Within an hour there were 10 people in the water, some of them strangers, walking the west shoreline in search of the prop. They walked back and forth, searching nearly 600 feet over and over, not giving up until they heard a scream. The prop was recovered.
People not only gathered in the water but on shore too, all willing to help. It was a sight that brought a tear to eyes, something you hear about in small towns...people coming together to help out with anything, without being asked.
