Crivitz--The Crivitz Fire Department and Crivitz Rescue Squad annual Ice Skating Party and Christmas Tree Burn will be held Saturday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Crivitz Fire Station.
Members of the Crivitz Fire Department and Crivitz Rescue Squad will team up to host the annual Ice Skating Party and Christmas Tree Burn starting at 6 p.m. Hot chocolate and other goodies will be provided along with a bonfire tended to by the Fire Department personnel. This is a free event open to the public so those 8 or 80 are invited to the fun. A parent or other responsible party must accompany young children.
Providing weather allows, discarded Christmas trees will be burned by Crivitz Firefighters, who take the opportunity to train members on the use of equipment. Residents may dispose of trees at the site anytime before the event. Firefighters are available to pick up trees from those unable to take them to the site.
